1st of Month Photo series

Several years ago, local resident Roger Lander undertook a personal project to photograph the Hobneys on the first day of every month throughout an entire year.

 

His photographs document the changing landscape through the seasons, capturing variations in light, weather, vegetation, and the flora and fauna found there.

Together, the images form a valuable visual record of the Hobneys as a living, changing landscape, demonstrating not only its natural beauty and biodiversity, but also the lasting connection local residents have with this special place.
